Abstract

The invention relates to a dry partition wall system (1) comprising a plurality of wall elements (2; 2′); a floor-side connection element (3) extending over several wall elements (2; 2′), a ceiling-side connection element (4) extending over several wall elements (2; 2′), wherein the plurality of wall elements (2; 2′) are arranged side by side and are retained on the floor-side connection element (3) and on the ceiling side-connection element (4) and thus jointly form a partition wall, and wherein the wall elements (2; 2′) are of multi-layer design. This dry partition wall system (1) is characterized in that each wall element (2) comprises a planking (22, 23) on both sides, with an insulating layer arranged in between, that one of the plankings (23) is of multi-part design, and that the plankings (22, 23) encompass the floor-side connection element (3) and the ceiling-side connection element (4) at the outer side. The invention relates further to a method for installing a dry partition wall system (I) of this kind. By means of the invention the installation of the dry partition wall system (1) is facilitated and an attractive optical appearance with good sound insulation effect is achieved.
