Abstract
A composition comprising a cell or a population thereof, wherein the cell comprises a polynucleotide encoding an antibody or a fragment thereof that binds CD269 (BCMA), wherein the binding to CD269 (BCMA) disrupts the interaction between CD269 and its native ligands (BAFF and APRIL). Also disclosed is treatment of plasma cell-mediated diseases such as multiple myeloma and autoimmune diseases.
Claims11
A composition comprising a cell or a population thereof, wherein the cell comprises a polynucleotide encoding an antibody or a fragment thereof that binds CD269 (BCMA), and wherein the antibody or the fragment thereof comprises:
- (i) a VH domain, wherein said VH domain comprises CDR H1 comprising SEQ ID No. 1 (RYWMS) or SEQ ID No. 15 (DYWMS), CDR H2 comprising SEQ ID No. 2 (EINPDSSTINYAPSLKD) or SEQ ID No. 16 (EINPDSSTINYAPSLKG) and CDR H3 comprising SEQ ID No. 3 (SLYYDYGDAMDYW), and
- (ii) a VL domain, wherein said VL domain comprises CDR L1 comprising SEQ ID No. 4 (KASQSVDSNVA), CDR L2 comprising SEQ ID No. 5 (SASLRFS) or SEQ ID No. 17 (SDDLRFS) and CDR L3 comprising SEQ ID No. 6 (QQYNNYPLTFG).
