Abstract
A portable device includes a speaker; a first sensor that detects movement of the device; a second sensor that detects a direction in which the device is facing; and a controller that, when time-series variation of the movement detected by the first sensor indicates a jump movement, causes a sound corresponding to the direction detected by the second sensor to be output from the speaker.

A portable device, comprising;
- a speaker;
- a first sensor that detects movement of the device;
- a second sensor that detects a direction in which the device is facing;
- and
- a controller that, when time-series variation of the movement detected by the first sensor indicates a jump movement, causes a sound corresponding to the direction detected by the second sensor to be output from the speaker.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program executable by a controller of a portable device including, in addition to said controller, a speaker;
- a first sensor that detects movement of the device;
- and a second sensor that detects a direction in which the device is facing, the program causing the controller to perform the following:
- when time-series variation of the movement detected by the first sensor indicates a jump movement, causing a sound corresponding to the direction detected by the second sensor to be output from the speaker.
A portable device, comprising
- a display unit;
- and
- a controller that causes the display unit to display playing instructions indicating notes to be played in terms of directions.
