Wagering on event outcomes during the event

An apparatus, comprising:

• at least one processor configured to control:
• after a start of an event and before an end of the event, determining at least one possible future state of the event that may occur before an end of the event;
• after a start of the event and before an end of the event, determining a probability of occurrence for each of the at least one possible future state based on probability information and reliability information associated with the probability information;
• based at least in part on the probability of occurrence for each of the plurality of at least one possible future states state, determining odds for betting that a first one of at least one possible future state will occur;
• before an end of the event, presenting to at least one user at at least one corresponding computer interface information indicating an opportunity to place a bet at the odds that the at least one possible future state will occur, the at least one computer interface being in networked communication with the at least one processor;
• responsive to presenting the information, receiving from a first user of the at least one user a first bet that the at least one possible future state will occur;
• and
• paying a payout to the first user based on the first bet and determining that at least one possible future state has occurred.

A method comprising:

• after a start of an event and before an end of the event, determining, by at least one processor of at least one computer in communication with at least one networked computers, at least one possible future state of the event that may occur before an end of the event;
• after a start of the event and before an end of the event, determining, by the at least one processor, a probability of occurrence for each of the at least one possible future state based on probability information and reliability information associated with the probability information;
• based at least in part on the probability of occurrence for each of the plurality of at least one possible future states state, determining, by the at least one processor, odds for betting that a first one of the at least one possible future state will occur;
• before an end of the event, presenting to at least one user at at least one corresponding computer interface information indicating an opportunity to place a bet at the odds that the at least one possible future state will occur, the at least one computer interface being in networked communication with the at least one processor;
• responsive to presenting the information, receiving, by the at least one processor, from a first user of at least one user a first bet that the at least one possible future state will occur;
• and
• paying, by the at least one processor, a payout to the first user based on the first bet and determining that the at least one possible future state has occurred.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium configured to store instructions which, when executed by at least one processor in networked communication with a computer system, controls:

• after a start of an event and before an end of the event, determining at least one possible future state of the event that may occur before an end of the event;
• after a start of the event and before an end of the event, determining a probability of occurrence for each of the at least one possible future state based on probability information and reliability information associated with the probability information;
• based at least in part on the probability of occurrence for each of the plurality of at least one possible future states state, determining odds for betting that a first one of the at least one possible future state will occur;
• before an end of the event, presenting to a at least one user at at least one corresponding computer interface information indicating an opportunity to place a bet at the odds that the at least one possible future state will occur, the at least one computer interface being in networked communication with the at least one processor;
• responsive to the presenting the information, receiving from a first user of the at least one user a first bet that the at least one possible future state will occur;
• and
• paying a payout to the first user based on the first bet and determining that the at least one possible future state has occurred.
