Abstract
A system and method for authentication of a product and registration of an authenticated product at a server. After registration of the user, response events are asynchronously used to collect data, search for stored product information and registration records, score attributes of the user and dynamically render content to be sent to the user, manufacturer, retailer or third party provider.
Claims21
A method for authenticating a product, the method comprising the steps of:
- receiving, over a network by an authentication module embodied in a non-transitory computer memory of an authentication data collection content rendering system operating on one or more processors, an electronic authentication request message from an input device, the authentication request message including an identification input of a consumer product;
- searching data storage for data of a consumer product identified by the identification input of the consumer product by an authentication service module embodied in a non-transitory computer memory of an authentication data collection content rendering system;
- and
- sending to the user device an authentication confirmation when the authentication service module has identified that the identification input of the consumer product has identified an authentication record stored in the data storage.

A system for registering a product comprising:
- a processing system including at least one processor, and non-transitory computer memory including instructions translatable by the at least one processor to perform:
- receiving, over a network by an authentication module embodied in a non-transitory computer memory of an authentication data collection content rendering system operating on one or more processors, an electronic authentication request message from an input device, the authentication request message including an identification input of a consumer product;
- searching data storage for data of a consumer product identified by the identification input of the consumer product by an authentication service module embodied in a non-transitory computer memory of the authentication data collection content rendering system;
- and
- sending to the user device an authentication confirmation when the authentication service module has identified that the identification input of the consumer product has identified an authentication record stored in the data storage.
