Abstract
In one embodiment a transportation request is received from a computing device of a first subscriber to a transportation service. It is determined that the transportation request is authorized by a second subscriber to the transportation service. One or more details associated with the transportation request and location information of the computing device of the first subscriber are communicated to a computing device of a driver associated with the transportation service to allow the driver to fulfill the transportation request.

A method comprising:
- receiving, at a transportation system and from a passenger computing device associated with a passenger, a transportation request to transport the passenger from a pickup location to a destination location;
- determining that the transportation request is authorized based on determining that an account of the passenger within the transportation system is associated with an account of an authorizing user within the transportation system;
- based on determining the transportation request is authorized, providing navigational information to a driver computing device, the navigational information causing the driver computing device to present navigational directions to fulfill the transportation request;
- and
- providing, to an authorizing user computing device associated with the authorizing user, a transportation fulfillment status during fulfilment of the transportation request.
A system comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
- receive, at a transportation system and from a passenger computing device associated with a passenger, a transportation request to transport the passenger from a pickup location to a destination location;
- determine that the transportation request is authorized based on determining that an account of the passenger within the transportation system is associated with an account of an authorizing user within the transportation system;
- based on determining the transportation request is authorized, provide navigational information to a driver computing device, the navigational information causing the driver computing device to present navigational directions to fulfill the transportation request;
- and
- provide, to an authorizing user computing device associated with the authorizing user, a transportation fulfillment status during fulfillment of the transportation request.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computing device to:
- receive, at a transportation system and from a passenger computing device associated with a passenger, a transportation request to transport the passenger from a pickup location to a destination location;
- determine that the transportation request is authorized based on determining that an account of the passenger within the transportation system is associated with an account of an authorizing user within the transportation system;
- based on determining the transportation request is authorized, provide navigational information to a driver computing device, the navigational information causing the driver computing device to present navigational directions to fulfill the transportation request;
- and
- provide, to an authorizing user computing device associated with the authorizing user, a transportation fulfillment status during fulfilment of the transportation request.
