Abstract
A process for depositing a coating on a suspension element is provided. The process comprises: providing the suspension element to be coated; preheating the surface of the suspension element to a preheating temperature at least equal to 80° C.; depositing on the preheated surface of the suspension element a cross-linkable composition comprising an epoxy compound; and heating the surface of the suspension element to a temperature greater than the preheating temperature so as to cross-link the composition, therefore resulting in the coating.

1-15. (canceled)
A vehicle suspension element provided with a coating, the coating comprising a reticulated polymer matrix comprising a polyepoxide and having a minimum thickness at least equal to 120 μm.
The vehicle suspension element according to 16, comprising, between the coating and the surface of the vehicle suspension element, a layer of phosphate crystals, the phosphate crystals having an average size by number at most equal to 20 μm.
A process for depositing a coating on a vehicle suspension element, comprising:
- providing the vehicle suspension element to be coated;
- preheating the surface of the vehicle suspension element to a preheating temperature at least equal to 80° C.;
- depositing on the preheated surface of the vehicle suspension element a cross-linkable composition comprising an epoxy compound;
- heating the surface of the vehicle suspension element to a temperature greater than the preheating temperature so as to cross-link the composition, thereby resulting in the coating,
- wherein the resulting coating has a minimum thickness at least equal to 120 μm.
