Abstract
A medical balloon is provided for which the working surface may be identified during an inverventional procedure with enhanced precision. Related methods of manufacturing such a balloon are also disclosed.
Claims2
A method of forming a medical balloon (12), comprising:
- forming the medical balloon (12) having radiopaque and non-radiopaque portions using a rotating die,
- wherein the radiopaque material is applied so as to identify a working surface (W) of the medical balloon (12), either by defining the edges of the working surface (W), extending along the working surface (W), or extending along portions of the balloon other than the working surface (W).
