Abstract
An improved method of treating cancers CD19 CAR T cells by administering the CD19 CAR T cells to the central nervous system, e.g., by intracerebroventricular administration, is described.

A method of treating a patient diagnosed with central nervous system lymphoma, systemic lymphoma with concurrent central nervous system involvement, central nervous system B cell leukemia or systemic B cell leukemia with concurrent central nervous system involvement, the method comprising introducing into the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of the patient a composition comprising an effective amount of T cells expressing a CD19 targeted CAR.
