Mop bucket for cleaning and squeezing a flat mop

A method of squeezing water by using a cleaning tool, wherein the cleaning tool comprises a mop bucket, a flat mop and a squeezing device, the flat mop comprises a mop rod, a mop head rotatably attached to the mop rod, and a wiper disposed on the mop head, the mop bucket has a squeezing water section, the squeezing device is located above the squeezing water section, and the method comprises:

• gripping the mop rod;
• rotating the mop head into a state where the mop head is substantially parallel to the mop rod so as to squeeze water;
• pressing down the mop rod, inserting the flat mop into the squeezing device, and moving the wiper into the squeezing water section;
• moving the flat mop as a whole up and down, and moving and squeezing the mop head up and down between the squeezing water section and the squeezing device so as to move and squeeze the wiper for squeezing;
• and
• transferring squeezed water out of the squeezing water section so as to avoid or relieve the mop head from absorbing the squeezed water during a press-down squeezing operation.
