Abstract
Provided is an electrophotographic photosensitive member including a support and a surface layer, wherein the surface layer contains a copolymer of a composition containing a specific hole transporting compound and a specific compound.
Claims8
An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising a support and a surface layer,
- wherein the surface layer contains a copolymer of a composition containing a hole transporting compound represented by the following Formula (1) and a compound represented by the following Formula (3),
- in Formula (1), Ar11 to Ar13 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group,
- at least one of the phenyl groups represented by Ar11 to Ar13 has a group represented by the following Formula (2) as a substituent, and
- the substituent which may be included in the phenyl group is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or the group represented by the following Formula (2);
- in Formula (2), R21 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R22 represents an alkylene group having 1 or more and 6 or less carbon atoms, and n represents 0 or 1;
- and
- in Formula (3), R31 and R32 each independently represent an alkyl group having 1 or more and 4 or less carbon atoms or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group,
- a substituent which may be included in the aryl group is an alkyl group having 4 or less carbon atoms,
- R31 and R32 may be bonded to each other to form a ring,
- R33 represents an alkyl group having 1 or more and 4 or less carbon atoms,
