Glycidyl ester compound preparation method

A method for preparing a glycidyl ester compound represented by Formula 1, which comprises reacting a carboxylic acid compound of Formula 2 and an epihalohydrin of Formula 3 under reduced pressure without the use of reaction solvent, represented by the following Reaction Scheme 1:

• wherein R1 is a C1 to C20 alkyl group, a C2 to C20 alkenyl group, a C2 to C20 alkynyl group, a C1 to C20 alkoxy group, a C3 to C20 cycloalkyl group, a C5 to C40 heteroaryl group, a C6 to C40 aryl group, a C6 to C20 alkoxyaryl group, or a C6 to C20 arylalkyl group,
• R2 is a C1 to C20 alkylene group, C1 to C20 alkenylene group, C3 to C20 cycloalkylene group, or C6 to C40 arylene group,
• R3 to R5 are the same or different from each other and are hydrogen or a C1 to C20 alkyl group and
• X is halogen.
