Abstract
A heat transfer label includes a carrier, a graphic layer, a barrier layer, and an adhesive layer. The barrier layer may be formed from a substantially solid formulation comprising a functional polyol component and a functional polyisocyanate component, wherein the functional polyol component and the functional polyisocyanate component reacts with each other to form the barrier layer configured to block dye migration.
Claims20
A dye migration barrier for a heat transfer label formed from a substantially solid barrier formulation comprising a functional polyol component including a hydroxyl functional group and a functional polyisocyanate component including an isocyanate functional group, wherein the functional polyol component is configured to react with the functional polyisocyanate component and crosslink to form the dye migration barrier configured to block dye migration.
