Abstract

A thermostatic valve includes an end cover, a valve body, and a valve core in a valve cavity of the valve body, the thermostatic valve has first and second outlets, and a first inlet in communication with the valve cavity, the valve body is provided with a first valve port configured to communicate the valve cavity with the second outlet, a return spring and a memory spring are provided in the valve cavity. The return spring can provide a return force allowing the valve core to open the first valve port; the memory spring has one end in contact with one end of the valve core, and another end in contact with the end cover, and when a temperature rises to a specified value, the memory spring can generate an elastic force to drive the valve core to move against the return force to close the first valve port.

Dependent claims

A thermostatic valve, comprising an end cover, a valve body, and a valve core located in a valve cavity of the valve body, wherein the thermostatic valve has a first outlet, a second outlet, and a first inlet which is in communication with the valve cavity, the valve body is further provided with a first valve port configured to communicate the valve cavity with the second outlet, and during a movement of the valve core, the valve core is configured to open or close the first valve port;

wherein
a return spring and a memory spring are further provided in the valve cavity, the memory spring is made of a memory alloy;
the return spring is configured to provide a return force to allow the valve core to open the first valve port;
the memory spring has one end in contact with one end of the valve core, and another end in contact with the end cover, and when a temperature rises to a specified value, the memory spring is configured to generate an elastic force to drive the valve core to move against the return force to close the first valve port;
and
the first inlet is provided in a side wall of the valve body.

A thermostatic valve, comprising an end cover, a valve body, and a valve core located in a valve cavity of the valve body, wherein the thermostatic valve has a first outlet, a second outlet, a second inlet in communication with the second outlet, and a first inlet in communication with the valve cavity, the valve body is further provided with a first valve port which is configured to communicate the valve cavity with the second outlet, and during a movement of the valve core, the valve core is configured to open or close the first valve port;

a return spring and a memory spring are further provided in the valve cavity, the memory spring is made of a memory alloy;
the return spring is configured to provide a return force to allow the valve core to open the first valve port;
wherein, at least one of the valve body, the valve core and the end cover is provided with an initial position and a working position, and at least one end portion of the memory spring is located at the initial position of the valve body or the valve core or the end cover;
and after a temperature of the memory spring is heated to a specified value and the memory spring is deformed, the end portion of the memory spring is configured to be detached from the initial position and to be maintained at the working position;
when the memory spring is at the initial position, the first valve port is closed;
and a distance between the valve core and the first valve port when the memory spring is at the initial position is smaller than a distance between the valve core and the first valve port when the memory spring is at the working position and the temperature is below a specified value;
and
when the memory spring is at the working position and the temperature rises to the specified value, the memory spring is configured to generate the elastic force to drive the valve core to move against the return force to close the first valve port;
and after the temperature of the memory spring is reduced below the specified value, the memory spring loses elastic characteristic, and the return spring is configured to drive the valve core to open the first valve port.
