## Abstract

A system and method for selecting alternate global positioning system coordinates is provided. The system generally comprises a geolocation device, processor operably connected to the geolocation device, and non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon. The instructions instruct the system to select alternate GPS coordinates based off geospatial data received by the processor as well as parameters of the system that may limit the alternate GPS coordinates in which the system may select. The parameters may be selected within a user interface of the system.

## Claims

### Claim 1

1) A system for selecting alternate global positioning system coordinates comprising,
a processor operably connected to a computing entity,
wherein said computing entity hosts a user interface used to display a fuzzy geolocation,
a power supply,
a display operably connected to said processor,
a non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to said processor and having instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by said processor, cause said processor to perform operations comprising:
receiving geospatial data,
transforming said geospatial data into a current geolocation,
creating a zone of reference using said current geolocation,
choosing said fuzzy geolocation within said zone of reference.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

2) The system of claim 1, wherein said zone of reference is created using said current geolocation and a fuzzy parameter.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

3) The system of claim 2, wherein said user interface displays said fuzzy parameter.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

4) The system of claim 3, wherein a user may alter said fuzzy parameter within said user interface.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

5) The system of claim 4, wherein said user interface displays said zone of reference.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

6) The system of claim 5, wherein a user may choose said fuzzy geolocation within said zone of reference via said user interface.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

7) The system of claim 1, wherein said fuzzy parameters include at least one of terrain data, elevation data, zone categories, and distance data.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

8) The system of claim 1, wherein data received and sent from said processor is saved within said computer readable medium.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

9) The system of claim 8, wherein said data is saved within user profiles.

### Claim 10

10) A system for selecting alternate global positioning system coordinates comprising,
a processor operably connected to a computing entity,
wherein said computing entity hosts a user interface used to display a fuzzy geolocation,
a power supply,
a display operably connected to said processor,
a non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to said processor and having instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by said processor, cause said processor to perform operations comprising:
receiving geospatial data,
transforming said geospatial data into a current geolocation
choosing said fuzzy geolocation using said current geolocation,
checking said fuzzy geolocation against a fuzzy parameter,
accepting said fuzzy geolocation when said fuzzy geolocation does not violate said fuzzy parameter.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

11) The system of claim 10, wherein said fuzzy is chosen using said current geolocation and a fuzzy parameter.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

12) The system of claim 11, wherein said user interface displays said fuzzy parameter.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

13) The system of claim 12, wherein a user may alter said fuzzy parameter within said user interface.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

14) The system of claim 10, wherein said fuzzy parameters include at least one of terrain data, elevation data, and distance data.

### Claim 15 (depends on 10)

15) The system of claim 10, wherein said fuzzy parameters include zone categories.

### Claim 16 (depends on 10)

16) The system of claim 10, wherein data received and sent from said processor is saved within said computer readable medium.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

17) The system of claim 16, wherein said data is saved within user profiles.

### Claim 18

18) A method for selecting alternate global positioning system coordinates comprising the steps of,
acquiring geospatial data from a global positioning system,
transforming said geospatial data into a current geolocation, and
creating a fuzzy geolocation using said current geolocation and a fuzzy parameter.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

19) The method of claim 18, wherein said fuzzy geolocation is produced by selecting said fuzzy geolocation using said current geolocation before checking said fuzzy geolocation against said fuzzy parameter and then subsequently accepting said fuzzy geolocation when said fuzzy geolocation does not violate said fuzzy parameter.

### Claim 20 (depends on 18)

20) The method of claim 18, wherein said fuzzy geolocation is produced by creating a zone of reference using said current location and said fuzzy parameter and then selecting a geolocation within said zone of reference.
