## Abstract

One or more embodiments of the disclosure provide systems and methods for providing media presentations to users of a media presentation system. A media presentation generally includes a one or more media streams provided by one or more capturing users of the media presentation system. In one or more embodiments, a user of the media presentation system may share a media presentation with a viewing user. The media presentation system can provide a number of features to produce a media stream within a media presentation.

## Claims

### Claim at position 1

1-20. (canceled)

### Claim 21

A computer-implemented method comprising:
receiving related media streams from client devices associated with corresponding capturing users;
identifying a first media stream from the related media streams based on a media characteristic of the first media stream corresponding to an attribute associated with a viewing user;
providing, to a client device associated with the viewing user, a media presentation comprising the first media stream;
identifying, by at least one processor, a second media stream from the related media streams based on a media characteristic of the second media stream corresponding to the attribute associated with the viewing user;
selecting, based on identifying the second media stream, audio from the second media stream; and
providing, to the client device associated with the viewing user, the audio from the second media stream along with the first media stream within the media presentation.

### Claim 22 (depends on 21)

The method of claim 21, further comprising replacing the audio of the first media stream with audio of the second media stream within the media presentation.

### Claim 23 (depends on 21)

The method of claim 21, further comprising augmenting the audio of the first media stream with audio of the second media stream within the media presentation.

### Claim 24 (depends on 21)

The method of claim 21, further comprising:
analyzing the related media streams to detect media quality characteristics related to each media stream;
comparing, for a given time period, a media quality characteristic of the first media stream to a quality media characteristic of a second media stream; and
wherein providing the audio from the second media stream is based on the media quality characteristic of the second media stream being superior to the media quality characteristic of the first media stream.

### Claim 25 (depends on 24)

The method of claim 24, wherein the media quality characteristic is an audio quality characteristic.

### Claim 26 (depends on 24)

The method of claim 24, wherein the media quality characteristic of the first media stream is a time-based media quality characteristic that is generated by:
detecting a change to the first media stream between a previous time period and a current time period; and
generating an updated media quality characteristic for the first media stream for the current time period based on the change to the first media stream.

### Claim 27 (depends on 21)

The method of claim 21, further comprising:
receiving a plurality of media streams from a plurality of client devices associated with a plurality of users;
generating one or more media characteristics for each media streams of the plurality of media streams;
analyzing the one or more media characteristics from each of the plurality of media streams to determine a subset of media streams that share a correspondence to the attribute associated with the viewing user; and
determining that the subset of media streams are the related media streams.

### Claim 28 (depends on 21)

The method of claim 21, further comprising determining that the first media stream and the second media stream are being captured at a common location.

### Claim 29 (depends on 28)

The method of claim 28, wherein the common location is an event having a virtually defined geographic boundary.

### Claim 30 (depends on 28)

The method of claim 28, further comprising:
identifying that the first media stream and the second media stream both capture common subject matter; and
detecting that the first media stream and the second media stream provide different perspectives of the common subject matter.

### Claim 31

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computer system to:
receive related media streams from client devices associated with corresponding capturing users;
identify a first media stream from the related media streams based on a media characteristic of the first media stream corresponding to an attribute associated with a viewing user;
provide, to a client device associated with the viewing user, a media presentation comprising the first media stream;
identify a second media stream from the related media streams based on a media characteristic of the second media stream corresponding to the attribute associated with the viewing user;
select, based on identifying the second media stream, audio from the second media stream; and
provide, to the client device associated with the viewing user, the audio from the second media stream along with the first media stream within the media presentation.

### Claim 32 (depends on 31)

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 31, further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computer system to: replace the audio of the first media stream with audio of the second media stream within the media presentation.

### Claim 33 (depends on 31)

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 31, wherein switching from providing the first media stream to providing the second media stream within the media presentation is further based on a quality characteristic of the second media stream being superior to a quality characteristic of the first media stream.

### Claim 34 (depends on 31)

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 31, further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computer system to augment the audio of the first media stream with audio of the second media stream within the media presentation.

### Claim 35 (depends on 31)

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 31, further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computer system to:
receive a plurality of media streams from a plurality of client devices associated with a plurality of users;
generate one or more media characteristics for each media streams of the plurality of media streams;
analyze the one or more media characteristics from each of the plurality of media streams to determine a subset of media streams that share a correspondence to the attribute associated with the viewing user; and
determine that the subset of media streams are the related media streams.

### Claim 36

A system comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
receive related media streams from client devices associated with corresponding capturing users;
identify a first media stream from the related media streams based on a media characteristic of the first media stream corresponding to an attribute associated with a viewing user;
provide, to a client device associated with the viewing user, a media presentation comprising the first media stream;
identify a second media stream from the related media streams based on a media characteristic of the second media stream corresponding to the attribute associated with the viewing user;
