## Abstract

An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes: a first substrate; an insulating layer on the first substrate; a signal wiring on the insulating layer; an organic light-emitting device on the first substrate, the organic light-emitting device defining an active area and including a first electrode, a second electrode, and an intermediate layer between the first and second electrodes; a passivation layer on the insulating layer; and a metal layer on the passivation layer at an outer region adjacent to the active area, separated from the first electrode, and contacting the second electrode and the signal wiring, wherein a first opening is in the passivation layer at the outer region, and the metal layer contacts the insulating layer at the first opening.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An organic light-emitting display apparatus comprising:
a substrate;
a first insulating layer on the substrate;
a signal wiring on the first insulating layer;
a second insulating layer on the substrate and including a first opening, the second insulating layer being separated by the first opening;
an organic light-emitting device on the second insulating layer, the organic light-emitting device defining an active area and comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, and an intermediate layer between the first and second electrodes;
a conductive layer on the second insulating layer outside the active area;
a third insulating layer covering a part of the first electrode; and
a circuit unit located below the second insulating layer and outside the active area, the circuit unit comprising a plurality of thin-film transistors.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first opening and the second electrode overlap in a plan view.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first opening and the conductive layer overlap in a plan view.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first opening, the second electrode and the conductive layer overlap in a plan view.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first opening is in the second insulating layer outside the active area.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the conductive layer comprises a same material as that of the first electrode.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the second electrode and the conductive layer are in direct contact at the first opening.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the conductive layer overlaps the signal wiring in a plan view.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the conductive layer comprises a plurality of second openings.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 9, wherein the plurality of second openings are arranged along an end of the second electrode.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 9, wherein the plurality of second openings are arranged at an interval.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The organic light-emitting display apparatus of claim 1, wherein an edge of the third insulating layer is closer to the active area than an edge of the second electrode.
