Specialized connection devices and method of use

A method of attaching a building component to concrete slurry, the method comprising the steps of:

• threading an anchor bolt into a first end of an anchor bolt float comprising an inspection hole;
• embedding the anchor bolt and the anchor bolt float comprising in the concrete;
• placing the building component over the anchor bolt float;
• sliding a compression washer over a fastener stud, the compression washer comprising a first compression surface and a second compression surface;
• and
• tightening the fastener stud relative to the anchor bolt to apply a compressive force to the compression washer so that the compression washer flexes.

A construction connection method for attaching a building component to hardened concrete slurry, the method comprising the steps of:

• threading an anchor bolt into a first end of an anchor bolt float;
• embedding the anchor bolt and the anchor bolt float in the concrete slurry such that a second end of the anchor bolt float, opposite the first end of the anchor bolt float, is flush with a surface of the concrete slurry;
• placing the building component over the anchor bolt float;
• inserting the fastener stud into a hole provided in the building component;
• inserting a first threaded end of the fastener stud into the anchor bolt float;
• and
• threading the first threaded end of the fastener stud to the anchor bolt.

A construction connection method for attaching a building component to hardened concrete slurry, the method comprising the steps of:

• inserting a threaded component into a threaded end of a fastener stud,
• providing an inspection hole in the fastener stud;
• viewing the threaded component through the inspection hole to confirm that the threaded component has been inserted to a proper threaded depth;
• and
• inserting a probe through the inspection hole to confirm proper threaded insertion depth.
