Curtain airbag device and structure for mounting to vehicle

A curtain airbag device comprising:

• an airbag mountable along a roof side rail of a vehicle in a vehicle longitudinal direction of the vehicle and configured for deployment in a curtain-like manner along a side window in a vehicle compartment by a gas generated by an inflator;
• a cover cloth wound to cover at least part of an outer circumference of the airbag when the airbag is stored as a folded airbag, the cover cloth extending in a longitudinal direction of the folded airbag;
• and
• a first folded-back part configured by folding back a first end of the cover cloth in a circumferential direction of an outer circumference of a cross section, which is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, of the folded airbag,
• wherein an edge of the outer circumference of the folded airbag is held between the first folded-back part and a second end of the cover cloth.

A curtain airbag device comprising:

• an airbag mountable along a roof side rail of a vehicle in a vehicle longitudinal direction of the vehicle and configured for deployment in a curtain-like manner along a side window in a vehicle compartment by a gas generated by an inflator;
• a cover cloth wound to cover at least part of an outer circumference of the airbag when the airbag is stored as a folded airbag, the cover cloth extending in a longitudinal direction of the folded airbag;
• and
• a first folded-back part provided at the cover cloth, the first folded-back part configured by folding back one end of the cover cloth in a circumferential direction of the outer circumference of a cross section, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, of the folded airbag,
• wherein the first folded-back part is inserted into a folding gap of the folded airbag from an edge of the outer circumference of the folded airbag.
