Abstract
A safety utility knife includes a pair of blades at one end of a handle. The cutting edges of both blades are configured to be shielded by a guard member. The guard member is movable with relation to the blade member.
Claims3
A safety utility knife, comprising:
- a handle that comprises a gripping surface;
- a pair of blades, each blade of the pair of blades includes a cutting edge;
- at least one pivotable guide member adjacent sides of the cutting edge of each blade;
- the at least one pivotable guide member configured to pivot out of the way of the cutting edge and expose the cutting edge for cutting purposes.
