The present invention pertains to a composition for preparing a medicament for preventing and/or treating a virus infection, especially a hepatitis B virus infection and/or a herpes simplex virus, and uses thereof.

A method for inhibiting a virus infection comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a preparation of Antrodia camphorata, and/or one or more active compounds isolated form Antrodia camphorata.
