Microbiocidal picolinamide derivatives

A compound of formula (I):

• wherein,
• R1 is C1-C12alkyl or C1-C6haloalkyl;
• R2 is hydroxy, C2-C6acyloxy, C2-C6haloacyloxy, C1-C6alkoxyC1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6haloalkoxyC1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkoxyC1-C6haloalkoxy, C2-C6acyloxyC1-C6alkoxy, C2-C6haloacyloxyC1-C6alkoxy or C2-C6acyloxyC1-C6haloalkoxy;
• R3 is hydrogen, C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy or C3-C8cycloalkyl;
• R4 and R5 are independently C1-C12alkyl, C3-C8cycloalkyl, C1-C6haloalkyl, C1-C6alkoxyC1-C6alkyl or C3-C8halocycloalkyl;
• R6 and R7 are independently C1-C6alkyl or C3-C8cycloalkyl;
• or
• R6 and R7 together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form a C3-C8cycloalkyl ring which is optionally substituted by 1, 2 or 3 substituents, which may be the same or different, selected from R9, or is optionally substituted by a single substituent which is R10, or is optionally substituted by 1 or 2 substituents, which may be the same or different, selected from R9 and a single substituent which is R10;
• R8 is phenyl, phenoxy, naphthyl, naphthyloxy, heteroaryl or heteroaryloxy, wherein the heteroaryl moiety is a 5- or 6-membered aromatic ring which comprises 1, 2, 3 or 4 heteroatoms individually selected from N, O and S, heterodiaryl or heterodiaryloxy, wherein the heterodiaryl moiety is a 9- or 10-membered bicyclic aromatic system which comprises 1, 2, 3 or 4 heteroatoms individually selected from N, O and S, wherein each phenyl, naphthyl, heteroaryl or heterodiaryl is optionally substituted by 1, 2 or 3 substituents, which may be the same or different, selected from R9;
• R9 is halogen, cyano, C1-C4alkyl, C1-C4haloalkyl, C1-C4alkoxy, C1-C4haloalkoxy;
• and
• R10 is phenyl or cyclopropyl each optionally substituted by 1, 2 or 3 substituents, which may be the same or different, selected from fluoro, chloro, bromo, cyano, methyl, ethyl, difluoromethyl, trifluoromethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, difluoromethoxy, trifluoromethoxy;
• or
• a salt or an N-oxide thereof.
