Abstract
A method performed by an access and mobility management function (AMF), the method comprising receiving, from a User Equipment (UE), a first message including capability information related to a periodic registration timer, setting a periodic registration timer indication based on the capability information, and transmitting, to the UE, a second message including the periodic registration timer indication.

A method by an Access and Mobility management Function (AMF) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a User Equipment (UE), a first message including capability information related to a periodic registration timer;
- setting a periodic registration timer indication based on the capability information;
- and
- transmitting, to the UE, a second message including the periodic registration timer indication.
A method by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- transmitting, to a Access and Mobility management Function (AMF), a first message including capability information related to a periodic registration timer;
- and
- receiving, from the AMF, a second message including a periodic registration timer indication,
- wherein the periodic registration timer indication is set based on the capability information by the AMF.
An Access and Mobility management Function (AMF) in a wireless communication system, the AMF comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a controller configured to control the transceiver to:
- receive, from a User Equipment (UE), a first message including capability information related to periodic registration timer,
- set a periodic registration timer indication based on the capability information, and
- transmit, to the UE, a second message including the periodic registration timer indication.
A User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a controller configured to control the transceiver to:
- transmit, to an Access and Mobility management Function (AMF), a first message including capability information related to periodic registration timer, and
- receive, from the AMF, a second message including a periodic registration timer indication,
- wherein the periodic registration timer indication is set based on the capability information by the AMF.
