Allocation method, storage medium, and information processing device

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program that causes a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:

• receiving a demand for allocating a predetermined event to one of a plurality of frames;
• setting a weight for free space in each of a plurality of candidates based on usage frequency of one or more candidates corresponding to the demand for allocating the predetermined event by referring to information on usage frequency of each of a plurality of frames in the past;
• identifying, from among the plurality of candidates, a candidate whose space is a smaller than another space when allocating the predetermined event to the candidate based on the free space in each of the candidates and the weights for the free space;
• and
• outputting the identified candidate.

An information processing device, comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
• receive a demand for allocating a predetermined event to one of a plurality of frames,
• set a weight for a free space in each of a plurality of candidates based on usage frequency of one or more candidates corresponding to the demand for allocating the predetermined event by referring to information on usage frequency of each of a plurality of frames in the past;
• identify, from among the plurality of candidates, a candidate whose space is a smaller than another space when allocating the predetermined event to the candidate based on the free space in each of the candidates and the weights for the free space;
• and
• output the identified candidate.
