Large Data Transfer Using Visual Codes With Feedback Confirmation

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a computer program performing a method, the computer-readable medium comprising:

• program instructions for receiving a series of visual codes of an original data file from a sending device, wherein the series of visual codes is generated from a partition of the original data file into a series of display blocks and wherein each display block is converted into a corresponding string and corresponding header that includes an ordered identifying display block number and total count of the display blocks in the series, wherein each corresponding string and corresponding header is converted to a corresponding visual code;
• program instructions for capturing at least one visual code in the series of visual codes;
• program instructions for converting each of the captured visual codes into a corresponding string and corresponding header;
• program instructions for determining which display blocks have been captured in the series of display blocks based on headers in the captured visual codes;
• program instructions for generating a confirmation message including information indicating which display blocks have not been captured;
• and
• program instructions for sending the confirmation message to the sending device;
• and
• program instructions for receiving a subset of the series of visual codes from the sending device.

A computer system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• memory coupled to the processor and having stored therein instructions that, if executed by the computer system, cause the computer system to execute a method comprising:
• receiving a series of visual codes of an original data file from a sending device, wherein the series of visual codes is generated from a partition of the original data file into a series of display blocks and wherein each display block is converted into a corresponding string and corresponding header that includes an ordered identifying display block number and total count of the display blocks in the series, wherein each corresponding string and corresponding header is converted to a corresponding visual code;
• capturing at least one visual code in the series of visual codes;
• converting each of the captured visual codes into a corresponding string and corresponding header;
• determining which display blocks have been captured in the series of display blocks based on headers in the captured visual codes;
• generating a confirmation message including information indicating which display blocks have not been captured;
• and
• sending the confirmation message to the sending device;
• and
• receiving a subset of the series of visual codes from the sending device.
