Drag move gesture in user interface

A method for gesture-based navigation through windows displayed on a mobile device, the method comprising:

• receiving a first gesture through a touch-sensitive screen of the mobile device, wherein the touch sensitive screen comprises a first display area and a second display area, wherein the first gesture is received though the first display area, wherein the gesture indicates navigation through an ordered set of windows;
• in response to receiving the first gesture, ceasing to display a first displayed window of the ordered set of windows on the first display area of the touch sensitive screen and commencing to display the first displayed window on the second display area of the touch sensitive screen;
• receiving a second gesture though the first display area of the touch-sensitive display;
• and
• in response to receiving the second gesture, ceasing to display a second displayed window of the ordered set of windows on the first display area of the first touch sensitive screen and commencing to display the second displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen, wherein the second displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen at least partially obscures the first displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen.

A non-transitory, computer-readable medium comprising a set of instructions stored therein which, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to perform gesture-based navigation through windows displayed on a mobile device by:

• receiving a first gesture through a touch-sensitive screen of the mobile device, wherein the touch sensitive screen comprises a first display area and a second display area, wherein the first gesture is received though the first display area, wherein the gesture indicates navigation through an ordered set of windows;
• in response to receiving the first gesture, ceasing to display a first displayed window of the ordered set of windows on the first display area of the touch sensitive screen and commencing to display the first displayed window on the second display area of the touch sensitive screen;
• receiving a second gesture though the first display area of the touch-sensitive display;
• and
• in response to receiving the second gesture, ceasing to display a second displayed window of the ordered set of windows on the first display area of the first touch sensitive screen and commencing to display the second displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen, wherein the second displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen at least partially obscures the first displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen.

A mobile device comprising:

• a touch-sensitive display;
• a processor coupled with the touch sensitive display;
• and
• a memory coupled with and readable by the processor and storing therein a set of instructions which, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform gesture-based navigation through windows displayed on a mobile device by:
• receiving a first gesture through the touch-sensitive screen, wherein the touch sensitive screen comprises a first display area and a second display area, wherein the first gesture is received though the first display area, wherein the gesture indicates navigation through an ordered set of windows;
• in response to receiving the first gesture, ceasing to display a first displayed window of the ordered set of windows on the first display area of the touch sensitive screen and commencing to display the first displayed window on the second display area of the touch sensitive screen;
• receiving a second gesture though the first display area of the touch-sensitive display;
• and
• in response to receiving the second gesture, ceasing to display a second displayed window of the ordered set of windows on the first display area of the first touch sensitive screen and commencing to display the second displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen, wherein the second displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen at least partially obscures the first displayed window on the second display area of the second touch sensitive screen.
