A method for preventing soil redeposition as an add-on effect to enzymes in a detergent, comprising treating a soiled textile with a polypeptide having DNase activity, together with an enzyme that is not DNase, in a detergent to produce a textile that is less soiled compared to a soiled textile treated with the detergent that lacks the polypeptide having DNase activity.
A method for making a detergent composition, comprising formulating a polypeptide having DNase activity obtained from a fungal source in a composition with one or more other detergent enzymes and a detergent adjunct ingredient.
