Abstract
Automated drilling may include receiving a tool-agnostic request to perform a process, determining one or more activities to complete the process, identifying a controller module associated with a first activity of the one or more activities, and triggering the controller module to initiate the first activity, where-in the controller module identifies and directs one or more drilling tools to initiate the first activity.

A non-transitory computer readable medium for automated drilling, comprising computer readable code executable by one or more processors to:
- receive a tool-agnostic request to perform a process;
- determine one or more activities to complete the process;
- identify a controller module associated with a first activity of the one or more activities;
- and
- trigger the controller module to initiate the first activity,
- wherein the controller module identifies and directs a first one or more drilling tools to initiate the first activity.
A method for automated drilling, comprising:
- receiving a tool-agnostic request to perform a process;
- determining one or more activities to complete the process;
- identifying a controller module associated with a first activity of the one or more activities;
- and
- triggering the controller module to initiate the first activity,
- wherein the controller module identifies and directs a first one or more drilling tools to initiate the first activity.
A system for automated drilling, comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more memories coupled to the one or more processors and computer readable code stored on the one or more memories and executable by the one or more processors to:
- receive a tool-agnostic request to perform a process;
- determine one or more activities to complete the process;
- identify a controller module associated with a first activity of the one or more activities;
- and
- trigger the controller module to initiate the first activity,
- wherein the controller module identifies and directs a first one or more drilling tools to initiate the first activity.
