A nanoparticle comprising heparin, protamine, an iron-based imaging agent, and a contrast agent, wherein the contrast agent is conjugated to the heparin and/or the protamine.
A composition comprising nanoparticles comprised of heparin, protamine, and an iron-based imaging agent, and wherein the composition comprises no or substantially no unbound heparin, protamine, or iron-based imaging agent.
