A device and method for treating a pet or other animal or object to kill or repel an arthropod or other pest species is described. The device is a spray station that includes a storage container having a reservoir for storing a pesticide or repellent composition, a spray nozzle for spraying the composition onto an animal or an object, tubing connecting the reservoir to the spray nozzle, a power source to pump the composition from the storage container through the tubing to the spray nozzle, and an attachment means for connecting the storage container to a substrate such as a floor or a sidewalk.
