Abstract
Disclosed is a heat spreader. The heat spreader comprises a copper substrate layer, and at least one layer of graphene deposited on the copper substrate layer.
Claims17
A heat spreader (100) comprising:
- a copper substrate layer (102);
- and
- at least one layer of graphene (104) deposited on the copper substrate layer (102).
A heat spreader (100) of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that thickness of the at least one layer (104) of graphene is in a range of 0.1-50 micrometres.
A heat spreader (200) of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one layer of graphene (102) further includes a top layer of graphene (202).
A heat spreader (100, 200) of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the copper substrate layer (102) is treated using at least one of a technique:
- heating, annealing, washing.
A method of manufacturing a heat spreader (100), the method comprising:
- providing a copper substrate layer (102);
- and
- depositing at least one layer of graphene (104) on the copper substrate layer (102).
