Abstract
A holder to polish a fiber optic connector having at least two ferrule assembly. Each ferrule assembly having a ferrule with an optical fiber therein. And a tool to rotate a ferrule assembly within the connector housing to allow opposing ferrules, with an APC surface, to transfer a light signal with minimal surface reflection, or data loss.

A holder:
- a housing with walls angled at about eight (8) degrees;
- a removable anchor device for securing connector with a plural of ferrules within the housing;
- and wherein
- the housing has a pair of tabs to secure the housing to a polishing surface.

A polishing assembly comprising:
- a holder for securing a connector during polishing;
- the connector having a least two ferrule assemblies, and each ferrule assembly having a flange with opposing slot cuts;
- and a tool for rotating the ferrule assembly within the connector.
The polishing assembly of claim 4, wherein the tool further comprises a pair of opposing protrusions.
