Abstract
This control system is provided with a controller, a controller which is a loopback communication device, a first communication route, and a second communication route. The controller generates and transmits control frames to slave devices. The controller performs loopback communication of the control frames. In the first communication route, multiple slave devices are connected between the controller and the controller using communication cables. In the second communication route, the first controller and the second controller are connected over a communication cable.

A control system, comprising:
- a controller which generates a control frame and transmits the control frame to slave devices;
- a loopback communication device which performs loopback communication of the control frame;
- a first communication route to which the slave devices are connected using a first communication cable between the controller and the loopback communication device;
- and
- a second communication route to which the controller and the loopback communication device are connected through a second communication cable,
- wherein the controller includes a first transception part which transmits and receives the control frame to and from the first communication route and the second communication route, and
- the first transception part analyzes the control frame received from the first communication route and transmits the control frame to the second communication route when the control frame has not passed through all of the slave devices connected to the first communication route.
A control method executed by a control system that transmits and receives a control frame by a first communication route in which slave devices are connected between a controller and a loopback communication device using a first communication cable and a second communication route in which the controller and the loopback communication device are connected through a second communication cable, the control method comprising:
- analyzing, by the controller, the control frame received from the first communication route and transmitting the control frame to the second communication route when the control frame has not passed through all of the slave devices connected to the first communication route.
