Abstract
A method performed by a User Equipment (UE) for handling an SR configuration in a wireless communications network is provided. The UE is configured with at least one SR configuration associated with any of: a respective logical channel and a respective radio bearer. When an event where the UE has reached its given maximum transmission attempts for one or more of the at least one SR configurations occurs, the UE is configured (202) with an action to be performed. The action relates to how to handle the at least one SR configuration associated with any of: the respective logical channel and the respective radio bearer.

- when an event where the UE has reached its given maximum transmission attempts for one or more of the at least one SR configurations occurs, configuring the UE with an action to be performed, which action relates to how to handle the at least one SR configuration associated with any of:

- determining a configuration relating to an action to be performed by the UE when an event where the UE has reached its given maximum transmission attempts for one or more of the at least one SR configurations occurs, which action relates to how to handle the at least one SR configuration associated with any of:
- the respective logical channel and the respective radio bearer, and
- sending the determined configuration to the UE.

- a radio interface;

- processing circuitry configured to, when an event where the UE has reached its given maximum transmission attempts for one or more of at least one SR configuration occurs, configure the UE with an action to be performed, which action relates to how to handle the at least one SR configuration, wherein the at least one SR configuration associated with any of:
- the respective logical channel and the respective radio bearer.
A network node for handling an SR configuration for a User Equipment, UE, in a wireless communications network, the network node comprising:
- an input and output interface;
- and
- processing circuitry configured to:
- determine a configuration related to an action to be performed by the UE when an event where the UE has reached its given maximum transmission attempts for one or more of at least one SR configuration occurs, which action relates to how to handle the at least one SR configuration, wherein the at least one SR configuration is associated with any of:
- the respective logical channel and the respective radio bearer, and
- send the determined configuration to the UE.
