Abstract
A location of a computing device may be determined by determining the range of a communication. Several different wireless communication protocols and/or wireless networks (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, and/or GPS) may be used to determine the user's location. When the user's location is determined, one or more actions (e.g., granting access to content) may be performed based on the user's location.
Claims10
A method comprising:
- determining a first range, relative to a premises, of a computing device based on communication with the computing device via a first type of protocol;
- determining that the computing device is authorized to receive a first group of content items, of one or more groups of content items, based on the first range satisfying a threshold range associated with the first group of content items;
- and
- sending, to the computing device, one or more content items from the first group of content items.
