Abstract
An apparatus which forms an electrostatic latent image by exposing a charged photosensitive member with light. The apparatus identifies a pixel which has density value less than a threshold value and is sandwiched in a predetermined direction between two pixels having density values greater than or equal to the threshold value in image data, generates screen image data by screen processing on the image data, and outputs, for each of one pixel of the two pixels sandwiching the identified pixel and a pixel adjacent to the one pixel in the predetermined direction, an adjusted density value the screen image data.

An information processing apparatus comprising:
- at least one controller, having at least one processor which executes instructions stored in at least one memory and/or at least one circuitry, being configured to:
- detect a white line matching with a predetermined pattern in image data;
- perform thickening processing for thickening the detected white line by decreasing density of pixels located adjacent to the white line;
- and
- perform edge correction enhancement processing of increasing density of not the pixels located adjacent to the white line but pixels constituting an edge.
An information processing method comprising:
- detecting a white line matching with a predetermined pattern in image data;
- performing thickening processing for thickening the detected white line by decreasing density of pixels located adjacent to the white line;
- and
- performing edge correction enhancement processing of increasing density of not the pixels located adjacent to the white line but pixels constituting an edge.
A computer readable storage medium storing a computer-executable program of instructions for causing a computer to perform an information processing method comprising:
- detecting a white line matching with a predetermined pattern in image data;
- performing thickening processing for thickening the detected white line by decreasing density of pixels located adjacent to the white line;
- and
- performing edge correction enhancement processing of increasing density of not the pixels located adjacent to the white line but pixels constituting an edge.
