Abstract
The invention relates to the establishing of a communication connection between an electric or hybrid vehicle and a charging station. To this end, a transfer protocol, which enables communication between the electric or hybrid vehicle and the charging station, can be selected either in the electric or hybrid vehicle or alternatively in the charging station. Selection of a transfer protocol from a plurality of available transfer protocols enables a flexible coupling between the electric or hybrid vehicle and the charging station to be achieved.
Claims10
A method for setting up a communication connection between a vehicle communication apparatus (10) and a charging station communication apparatus (20), having the steps of:
- coupling (S1) the vehicle communication apparatus (10) to the charging station communication apparatus (20);
- identifying (S2) a common transmission protocol between the vehicle communication apparatus (10) and the charging station communication apparatus (20);
- and
- setting up (S3) a communication connection between the vehicle communication apparatus (10) and the charging station communication apparatus (20) by using the identified common transmission protocol.
A vehicle communication apparatus (10) having:
- a first communication device (11), which is couplable to a charging station communication apparatus (20);
- and
- a first detector device (12), which is designed to identify a common transmission protocol between the first communication device (11) and a charging station communication apparatus (20) coupled to the first communication device (11),
- wherein the first communication device (11) is designed to set up a communication connection between the first communication device (11) and the charging station communication apparatus (20) coupled to the first communication device (11) by using the identified common transmission protocol.
A vehicle communication apparatus (10), wherein the first detector device (12) is designed to identify the common transmission protocol by using a coded plug connection, a voltage potential and/or a transmitted data pattern.
A charging station communication apparatus (20) having:
- a second communication device (21), which is couplable to a vehicle communication apparatus (10);
- and
- a second detector device (22), which is designed to identify a common transmission protocol between the second communication device (21) and a vehicle communication apparatus (10) coupled to the second communication device (21),
- wherein the second communication device (21) is designed to set up a communication connection between the second communication device (21) and the vehicle communication apparatus (10) coupled to the second communication device (21) by using the identified common transmission protocol.
