Membership compiler for applications

A system, comprising a processor, memory accessible to the processor, and computer program instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor to perform:

• evaluate a proposed membership conversion submitted by a client application (App) on a client subject to a first membership services provider (MSP1);
• evaluate the validity of the client based on channel membership rules;
• place a transaction certificate in a creator field of a client transaction request;
• use fabric-attribute-based authentication to authenticate the client that submitted the membership conversion proposal;
• consult a membership table to determine access rights of the client;
• and
• pass the access rights information to an application membership credential generator compliant with a second membership services provider (MSP2).

A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising computer readable instructions for converting membership information from, the instructions executable by a computer processor to perform:

• evaluating a proposed membership conversion submitted by a client application (App) on a client subject to a first membership services provider (MSP1);
• evaluating the validity of the client according to channel membership rules;
• placing a transaction certificate in a creator field of a client transaction request;
• using fabric-attribute-based authentication to authenticate the client that submitted the membership conversion proposal;
• consulting a membership table to determine access rights of the client;
• and
• passing the access rights information to an application membership credential generator compliant with a second membership services provider (MSP2).
