Abstract
A wireless device receives, during a first time interval, a command indicating activation of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) secondary cell of a timing advance group (TAG). A timing advance for the TAG is received. Transmission of valid channel state information is started via the PUCCH secondary cell during a second time interval occurring a first quantity of time intervals after the first time interval. The first quantity is based on a delay from receipt of the command until the wireless device applies the timing advance to uplink transmissions via the TAG.
Claims20
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- receive, during a first time interval, a command indicating activation of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) secondary cell of a timing advance group (TAG);
- receive a timing advance for the TAG;
- and
- start transmission of valid channel state information via the PUCCH secondary cell during a second time interval occurring a first quantity of time intervals after the first time interval, wherein the first quantity is based on a delay from receipt of the command until the wireless device applies the timing advance to uplink transmissions via the TAG.

A method comprising:
- receiving, during a first time interval by a wireless device, a command indicating activation of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) secondary cell of a timing advance group (TAG);
- receiving a timing advance for the TAG;
- and
- starting transmission of valid channel state information via the PUCCH secondary cell during a second time interval occurring a first quantity of time intervals after the first time interval, wherein the first quantity is based on a delay from the receiving the command until the wireless device applies the timing advance to uplink transmissions via the TAG.
