Abstract

A desk top alarm or time related or LED lighting device with backup battery for power fail time keep time functions always work, and device has USB-port(s) has built-in or external AC-to-DC circuit to get 1st voltage DC, and 1st DC go through at least one of DC-to-DC (including just conductive-piece) to 2nd or more voltage DC(s). At least one of 1st or 2nd or more voltage DC to supply to at least one of (i) USB-charging port(s), (ii) “8’ light source(s), or optional (iii) IC, (iv) speaker, (v) audio device, (vi) radio, (vii) outlet(s), (viii) surge or other safety protection circuit, (ix) colorful LEDs or LED-bulb for accent light, wake-up light, sleep night light, (x) colorful LEDs for charging status or power on/off or am/pm or, other indicator purpose, (xi). Same AC-to-DC circuit and DC-to-DC circuit also apply to desk top LED light which has built-in plurality of LED(s) inside the LED(s) compartment or replaceable/detachable CFL or LED bulbs for desk top LED lighting device. Further, the device has built-in optional outlets to supply AC power to be-supplied products. The device has export power from USB-port is one of (a) min. 1 A or (b) 3.1 to 10 Amp or (c) 12 Watt to 60 Watt to make regular or quickly charging functions.

Dependent claims

A digital alarm clock or time related device has quick USB charging system, comprising:

at least one USB charging port having at least one of charging capacity select from;
(1) at least is 1.0 A, or
(2) minimum 3.1 A to 10.0 A or higher, or
(3) minimum 12 Watt up to 60 Watt,
wherein the at least one USB charging port only has a charging function without electric or digital data transmission or delivery;
at least one AC-to-DC circuit built-in device or external transformer to change home AC power source to 1st DC voltage current, and at least one DC-to-DC or by-pass piece(s) or conductive-piece to change 1st DC voltage current to at least one 2nd or more DC voltage current to supply one of 1st or 2nd or more DC voltage current to at least one of (1) the ‘8’ light-segments and/or dot-matrix light-source(s) for at least one time display, and (2) USB-port(s)
Wherein, the DC voltage for USB port is different with time-display need DC voltage and USB charging-port(s) needed current amperage is higher than ‘8’ light-segments and/or dot-matrix light-source(s) for at least one time-display needed current amperage.
Wherein the said alarm clock or time related device has backup battery to keep time related IC to continue work during power fail time.
wherein the at least one USB charging port assembly is installed in an opening of a digital alarm clock or time related device housing.

at least one USB charging port having a charging capacity is one of
(1) at least is 2.1 A,
(2) minimum 2.4 A to 10.0 A or higher,
(3) minimum 12 Watt up to 60 Watt,
wherein the at least one USB charging port only has a charging function without electric or digital data transmission or delivery;
at least one AC-to-DC circuit built-in device or external transformer to change home AC power source to 1st DC voltage current, and at least one of (i) DC-to-DC, or (ii) by-pass piece(s), or (iii) conductive-piece, to change 1st DC voltage current to at least one 2nd or more DC voltage current;
to supply one of 1st or 2nd or more DC voltage current to the (1) built-in or replaceable light-source(s) and (2) USB-port(s)
Wherein, DC-to-DC circuit or IC related circuit create the different amperage of current to supply to the (1) light-source(s) and (2) USB port, and USB ports current amperage is higher than light-source(s) needed.
wherein the at least one USB charging port assembly is installed in an opening of device housing.
