Abstract
A display device includes a display module and a circuit board. The display module includes a base substrate, which includes a display area and a non-display area adjacent to the display area, and a first pad positioned on the base substrate and overlapping the non-display area. The circuit board includes a first board and a second pad positioned on the first board and contacting the first pad, wherein the second pad is provided with a first metal layer of a single material.

A display device comprising:
- a display module comprising a base substrate, the base substrate having a display area and a non-display area adjacent to the display area, and a first pad on the base substrate and overlapping the non-display area;
- and
- a circuit board comprising a first board and a second pad on the first board and contacting the first pad,
- wherein the second pad is provided with a first metal layer composed of a single material.

A manufacturing method of a display device, the manufacturing method comprising:
- arranging a first pad on a display substrate and a second pad on a circuit board;
- contacting the first pad with the second pad;
- applying a pressure on the circuit board in a thickness direction of the display substrate;
- and
- generating an ultrasonic vibration to an interface between the first pad and the second pad, while the pressure is applied,
- wherein the second pad is provided with a metal layer composed of a single material.
