Abstract
Disclosed herein is a reminder device that automatically transfers a necessary message to a user when entering or exiting a residence. The reminder device includes a body installed adjacent to a door, a sensor module disposed in the body to detect opening or closing of the door, a memory module disposed in the body to store a plurality of messages in form of data, an output module disposed outside the body to output a message stored in the memory module in form of at least one of speech and visual display, and a control module configured to receive a trigger signal including a detection signal of the sensor module and to selectively output at least one of messages stored in the memory module.

A reminder device for outputting a message to a user when a door is opened or the user approaches the door, the reminder device comprising:
- a body installed adjacent to the door;
- a sensor module disposed in the body to detect opening or closing of the door;
- a memory module disposed in the body to store a plurality of messages in form of data;
- an output module disposed outside the body to output a message stored in the memory module in form of at least one of speech and visual display;
- and
- a control module configured to receive a trigger signal including a detection signal of the sensor module and to selectively output at least one of messages stored in the memory module.
