Gaming system and method for adding player influence to game outcomes

A gaming system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
• receive data associated with a request to generate random numbers,
• obtain player controlled data,
• select one of a plurality of random number generators, wherein the selection is based on the obtained player controlled data, and
• determine, via the selected random number generator, a plurality of random numbers, wherein the plurality of random numbers are deterministic of a game outcome of a play of a game.

A method of operating a gaming system, the method comprising:

• receiving data associated with a request to generate random numbers,
• obtaining player controlled data,
• modifying, by a processor, a random number generator, wherein the modification is based on the obtained player controlled data, and
• determining, by the processor and via the modified random number generator, a plurality of random numbers, wherein the plurality of random numbers are deterministic of a game outcome of a play of a game.
