Abstract
Disclosed are various embodiments for determining a wagering game to play on a client device. The client device can determine the orientation of a display using one or more sensors. The wagering game can be selected using the orientation. The selected wagering game can be rendered on the display. An outcome of the wagering game can be generated.

A method, comprising:
- receiving data describing an orientation of a client device;
- determining, based on the orientation of the client device, a number of symbols to display in connection with a wagering game;
- determining, based on the orientation of the client device, a number of paylines to provide in connection with the wagering game;
- determining an outcome of the wagering game based at least in part on the determined number of symbols and the determined number of paylines;
- and
- displaying the outcome of the wagering game via a display of the client device.

- a data store;
- and
- a computing device coupled to the data store, the computing device configured to:
- receive data describing an orientation of a client device;
- determine, based on the orientation of the client device, a number of symbols being displayed in connection with a wagering game;
- determine an outcome of the wagering game based at least in part on the determined number of symbols;
- and
- cause the outcome of the wagering game to be presented via a display of the client device.

- receive orientation data from the sensor;

- receive an outcome of the wagering game based at least in part on the received number of symbols;

- cause the outcome of the wagering game to be presented via the display.
