Method, System, and Computer Program Product for Controlling Transaction Velocity Limits

A system for controlling transaction velocity limits, comprising at least one server computer including at least one processor, the at least one server computer programmed and/or configured to:

• (a) generate, on at least one processor, at least one transaction control criterion associated with at least one parameter;
• (b) receive, from at least one requesting processor, a transaction message associated with a transaction request, the transaction message comprising data associated with the at least one parameter;
• (c) analyze, with at least one processor, at least a portion of the data associated with the at least one parameter with respect to the at least one transaction control criterion associated with the at least one parameter;
• (d) automatically generate and communicate, with at least one processor, at least one of:
• a processing request message associated with the transaction request if data associated with the at least one parameter in the transaction message does not satisfy the transaction control criterion associated with the at least one parameter;
• and a rejection response message if data associated with the at least one parameter in the transaction message does satisfy the transaction control criterion associated with the at least one parameter;
• and
• (e) generate, with at least one processor, update data associated with the at least one parameter.

A computer program product for controlling transaction velocity limits, comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium including program instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:

• (a) generate at least one transaction control criterion associated with at least one parameter;
• (b) receive a transaction message associated with a transaction request, the transaction message comprising data associated with the at least one parameter;
• (c) analyze at least a portion of the data associated with the at least one parameter with respect to the at least one transaction control criterion associated with the at least one parameter;
• (d) automatically generate and communicate at least one of:
• a processing request message associated with the transaction request if data associated with the at least one parameter in the transaction message does not satisfy the transaction control criterion associated with the at least one parameter;
• and a rejection response message if data associated with the at least one parameter in the transaction message does satisfy the transaction control criterion associated with the at least one parameter;
• and
• (e) generate update data associated with the at least one parameter.
