Air-Cooling Device

An air-cooling device and boat combination comprising:

• a boat;
• a plurality of misting modules, each misting module comprising:
• a housing defining an interior space, the housing having a back, the back being coupled to a sidewall of the boat,
• a plurality of slots positioned in the housing wherein the slots are configured for air to enter the interior space,
• a plurality of orifices positioned in a front of the housing,
• a plurality of fans coupled to the housing and positioned in the interior space, each fan being positioned in an associated orifice, and
• a plurality of nozzles coupled to the front of the housing;
• and
• a pump coupled to the boat, the pump operationally coupled to the nozzles and a source of water wherein the pump is positioned for pumping water through the nozzles for forming a mist wherein the fans are configured for dispersing the mist for cooling an area proximate to the housing.

An air-cooling device for comprising:

• a plurality of misting modules, each misting module comprising:
• a housing defining an interior space, the housing having a back, the back being coupled to a sidewall of a boat, the housing being substantially rectangularly box shaped,
• a plurality of slots positioned in the housing wherein the slots are configured for air to enter the interior space, the slots being positioned in a top and opposing sides of the housing,
• a plurality of orifices positioned in a front of the housing,
• a plurality of fans coupled to the housing and positioned in the interior space, each fan being positioned in an associated orifice, the plurality of fans comprising three fans, each fan comprising a motor and a plurality of blades wherein the motor is positioned for rotating the blades for motivating the air from the interior space through the associated orifice, and
• a plurality of nozzles coupled to the front of the housing, the plurality of nozzles comprising four nozzles substantially evenly spaced between the opposing sides of the housing proximate to the top of the housing;
• a pump operationally coupled to the nozzles and a source of water wherein the pump is positioned for pumping water through the nozzles for forming a mist wherein the fans are configured for dispersing the mist for cooling an area proximate to the housing;
• a water reservoir positioned in the boat, the water reservoir being coupled to each of the misting modules and the pump such that the water reservoir is in fluidic communication with the misting modules and the pump wherein the pump is positioned for pumping water from the water reservoir through the nozzles for forming the mist wherein the fans are configured for dispersing the mist for cooling the area proximate to the housing;
• a plurality of tubes, each tube being coupled to and extending between the pump and a respective misting module such that the respective misting module is fluidically coupled to the water reservoir through the pump;
• a switch coupled to a surface of the boat, the switch being operationally coupled to an electrical circuit of the boat, the pump and the plurality of misting modules wherein the switch is positioned for selectively coupling the pump and the misting modules to the electrical circuit for powering the pump and the misting modules;
• a plurality of first cables, each first cable being coupled to and extending between the switch and a respective misting module such that the respective misting module is electrically coupled to the switch;
• and
• a second cable coupled to and extending between the switch and the pump such that the pump is electrically coupled to the switch.
