Abstract
The present application describes liquid release of fluid, preferably water, onto the head or heads of a player or players of an electronic interactive game, which may incorporate virtual reality, mixed reality or augmented reality. In most embodiments, the gameset includes headgear that includes a liquid reservoir for dispensing a liquid on a player. The gameset may also include an electronic display to visually present imagery to the player, and a receiver that transmits a signal to a receiver coupled to the headgear to dispense liquid from the liquid reservoir onto a player.
Claims33
A gameset configured to emit a liquid onto a player comprising:
- headgear configured to be worn on a head of a player and comprising a liquid reservoir configured to hold a liquid and an electronic display configured to visually present imagery to the player's eyes;
- a receiver coupled to the headgear;
- a remote device comprising a transmitter configured to transmit a signal to the receiver;
- and
- one or more power sources configured to power the transmitter, the electronic display and the receiver,
- wherein, upon reception of the signal from the transmitter, the receiver is configured to activate dispensing of liquid from the liquid reservoir onto the player's head.
A gameset that displays an electronic image to a player, said player participating in a game experience incorporating virtual reality, augmented reality or mixed reality, said gameset configured to emit a liquid onto a player's head upon reception of a signal by a receiver from a transmitter, said receiver configured to activate the dispensing of said liquid from a liquid reservoir coupled to said player's head.
A gameset that displays an electronic image to a player, said gameset configured to activate a haptic event by example low-volt shock or vibration of a small motor onto a player's head upon reception of a signal by a receiver from a transmitter.
A gameset configured to emit a liquid onto a player comprising:
- headgear configured to be worn on a head of a player and comprising a liquid reservoir configured to hold a liquid;
- an electronic display configured to visually present imagery to the player's eyes;
- a receiver coupled to the headgear;
- a remote device comprising a transmitter configured to transmit a signal to the receiver;
- and
- one or more power sources configured to power the transmitter, the electronic display and the receiver,
- wherein, upon reception of the signal from the transmitter, the receiver is configured to activate dispensing of liquid from the liquid reservoir onto the player's head.
A gameset configured to emit a liquid onto a player comprising:
- headgear configured to be worn on a head of a player and comprising a liquid reservoir configured to hold a liquid;
- a power source;
- an electronic display configured to visually present imagery to the player's eyes;
- wherein, upon activation, the liquid reservoir is configured to dispense liquid onto the player's head.
A method of dispensing liquid onto a player comprising:
- a) providing a gameset configured to emit a liquid onto a player comprising:
- headgear configured to be worn on a head of a player and comprising a liquid reservoir containing a liquid;
- a power source;
- an electronic display configured to visually present imagery to the player's eyes;
- b) placing the headgear on the player's head and visually presenting imagery to the player's eyes;
- and
- c) dispensing liquid from the liquid reservoir onto the player's head.
A gameset configured to emit a liquid onto a player comprising:
- headgear configured to be worn on a head of a player and comprising a liquid reservoir configured to hold a liquid;
- a power source;
- an electronic display configured to visually present imagery to the player's eyes;
- wherein, the liquid reservoir is activated to dispense liquid onto the player's head.
