A method performed at a wireless communication device of distributing data content in an Information Centric Networking, ICN, network, comprising:

• submitting a request to distribute the data content to an agent device in the ICN network assigned to distribute the data content on behalf of the wireless communication device, the request comprising an identifier associated with the wireless communication device, an identifier of the request configured to enable delivery of the request to the agent device via intermediate ICN nodes of the ICN network, and an indication of a current location of the wireless communication device.

A wireless communication device configured to distribute data content in an Information Centric Networking, ICN, network, comprising a processing unit and a memory, said memory containing instructions executable by said processing unit, whereby said wireless communication device is operative to:

• submit a request to distribute the data content to an agent device in the ICN network assigned to distribute the data content on behalf of the wireless communication device, the request comprising an identifier associated with the wireless communication device, an identifier of the request configured to enable delivery of the request to the agent device via intermediate ICN nodes of the ICN network, and the content to be distributed.
