A terminal comprising:

• a communication processing unit to transmit a search request for searching for a connectable master device when receiving input of a connection request for requesting a wireless connection, transmit a connection request for requesting connection to a response device that is the master device that has responded to the search request, and transmit connection start request for requesting initiation of connection for configuring setting to the response device when acquiring a response to the connection request;
• a display unit to display image data received from the response device;
• and
• an encryption processing unit to hold a character string inputted from a user through display of the image data, decrypt data received from the response device using the character string, and encrypt data to be transmitted to the response device using the character string.

A storage medium storing a program that causes a computer to execute:

• a first step of transmitting a search request for searching for a connectable master device when an input of a connection request for requesting wireless connection is received;
• a second step of transmitting a connection request for requesting connection to a response device that is the master device that has responded to the search request;
• a third step of transmitting a connection start request for requesting initiation of connection for configuring setting to the response device when a response to the connection request is acquired;
• a fourth step of displaying image data received from the response device;
• and
• a fifth step of holding a character string inputted from a user through display of the image data, decrypting data received from the response device using the character string, and encrypting data to be transmitted to the response device using the character string.
