Apparatuses and methods for bi-directional access of crosspoint arrays

An apparatus, comprising:

• a memory cell;
• and
• a plurality of voltage sources couplable with the memory cell, wherein the plurality of voltage sources are operable to:
• bias the memory cell with a first polarity during a first type of access operation;
• and
• bias the memory cell with a second polarity during a second type of access operation.

An apparatus, comprising:

• a memory cell;
• and
• a memory controller coupled with the memory cell, the memory controller operable to cause the apparatus to:
• apply a first selection bias across the memory cell during a selection phase of a first access operation;
• apply a first access bias across the memory cell during an access phase of the first access operation, the first access bias having a first polarity;
• apply a second selection bias across the memory cell during a selection phase of a second access operation;
• apply a second access bias across the memory cell during an access phase of the second access operation, the second access bias having a second polarity.
